Check the current details
A focused routine before you order
Listings can change. Photos, selected options, size information, displayed prices, availability, and descriptions may not match an earlier reference. Take a moment to review the live listing itself, especially when you are choosing between similar items.
1. Open the current record
Use the Hipobuy Spreadsheet to find and compare relevant records, then open the product record in a new tab to review the current listing details before making a decision.
Do not assume that a title, photo, price reference, or option shown in an earlier record is still current. The listing you can see now is the appropriate source for a final pre-order check.
2. Confirm the exact item and option
Start with the item title and then check the selected option. Colour, size, version, material, bundle, or seller variation can change what is included and what the displayed price means.
When two listings look similar, make sure you are comparing the same variation before treating one price or photo set as evidence for the other.
3. Review photos, description, and sizing together
Look at the live photos alongside the description and any size chart. Check whether they describe the same version and whether the information answers the questions that matter for your intended option.
For clothing, shoes, or fitted items, a size label alone may not be enough. Review the current measurements and note anything that remains unclear before you order.
4. Check the current price and availability
Check the displayed total for the option you selected, not only the starting price shown on a search result or earlier record. A low headline price can apply to a different version, quantity, or variation.
Also review whether the option appears available at the time you are checking. Availability can change, so treat the current listing as a snapshot rather than a promise about a later order.
5. Decide what still needs checking
Before ordering, write down any unresolved details: the selected variant, measurements, included items, or visual differences you want to verify. If the listing does not answer an important question, do not fill in the gap with assumptions.
After an order is placed, use the available account information and QC guidance for the separate order-stage review. Listing photos are useful for comparison, but they are not item-specific QC photos.
